EmergiCare Emergency Room uses CT scanners to create detailed, high-quality images of the body. This provides our team with useful information to monitor your health and accurately time treatments. The computerized tomography (CT) scans utilized at our facility features a GE Lightspeed 4 slice CT scanner for the most rapid cross-sectional imaging. Typically, with this powerful diagnostic tool, all of our CT scans can be interpreted within 5 minutes by our staff.
We may recommend a CT scan in the following situations:
- Internal bleeding or injury from an accident
- Monitor various medical disorders
- Determine the location of blood clots, brain injuries, and appendicitis
- Sports-related injuries, including fractures, sprains, and strains.
