The need for critical medical care isn’t predictable. Accidents and sudden illnesses often occur at inconvenient times, such as weekends when doctors’ offices are closed.
Therefore, having a plan before you need critical care can lessen the stress and trauma of an unpredictable event.
When you or a loved one needs medical attention right away, a hospital may not be convenient, and hospitals often mean agonizingly long waits. Neighborhood clinics seem like a convenient alternative, but may not be equipped – or even open – to handle your needs.
Urgent care clinics may sound like a good solution, based on their name, but are limited in the types of conditions they can treat and the care they provide. These clinics are good options for minor conditions like burns, ear infections, and minor lacerations. They are not, however, staffed or equipped to treat serious illnesses or life-threatening conditions.
EmergiCare is different.
Emergi-Care, located near the NASA campus, is a full-service, freestanding medical facility, conveniently located to many Clear Lake neighborhoods, and is staffed and equipped to handle the same needs as a hospital.
Emergi-Care physicians and nurses are fully trained, with experience in treating critical and life-threatening conditions. The facility is equipped with six patient rooms, a CT scanner, an X-ray machine, a full laboratory, and a pharmacy.
The mission of Emergi-Care is to provide the Clear Lake and surrounding communities with a convenient alternative to overcrowded hospital rooms by delivering fast, friendly, high-quality medical treatment in a comfortable neighborhood setting. Emergi-Care is committed to maintaining the highest standards of care while providing excellent customer service and personalized attention.
Emergi-Care accepts all major insurance plans, but does not accept Medicaid, and is located convenient to most Clear Lake neighborhoods.
