Emergi-Care Offers State-Mandated Sports Physicals

Neighborhood Life-Saver Emergi-Care Offers State-Mandated Sports Physicals

HOUSTON (August 28, 2013)—As summer comes to a close and the kids head back to school, your neighborhood life-saver, Emergi-Care is coming to the rescue so your athlete can get their state-mandated sports physical without the hassle of scheduling appointments and enduring long waits.

Emergi-Care sports physicals meet all of the necessary requirements for sports programs offered in the Clear Creek Independent School District. Emergi-Care’s $20 sports physicals are important for students participating in competitive sports including, but not limited to football, basketball, soccer, lacrosse, volleyball, baseball, softball, swimming, dance, cheerleading, and marching band.

The physical exam, also known as the preparticipation physical examination (PPE) helps determine whether or not your child can safely participate in their chosen sport. Annual sports physicals are important because it allows these athletes to discover and deal with potential health problems, such as asthma or epilepsy that may interfere with their love of the game. Some doctors may even be able to provide some great training tips on how to avoid or prevent injuries, which can only make your child a stronger athlete.

Emergi-Care also offers evening and weekend availability so your child won’t have to miss class, making it a convenient alternative to a physician’s office. Don’t hesitate to take your athlete to Emergi-Care today so they’re sure to remain as healthy and active as ever before.
